By Air:

Island Express Helicopter Service is available from San Pedro and takes approximately 15 minutes. Charter airplane flights leave from LAX, John Wayne Orange County and Long Beach Airport You can also arrange transportation from Newport Beach with Catalina Flyer (800-830-7744) or from Dana Point with Catalina Explorer (877-432-6276). 

By Water:

Catalina Express Boat Terminals are located in Long Beach, San Pedro or Dana Point Harbor. Express boats take approximately 60-90 minutes to reach the island. Catalina Ferry Boats are located in Marina Del Rey and take approximately 90 Minutes to reach the island.
